A grid connection readiness dossier: your connection requirements, a load or generation study, and the documentation your Distribution Network Operator needs, ready to submit.

The DNO connection process and the ENA Engineering Recommendations, including Engineering Recommendation G99 for the connection of generation, with a load or generation study.

What we need from you

• Your site load or generation capacity, and the technology.
• A single line diagram, or the electrical scheme.
• The site location and, if you know it, your Distribution Network Operator.
• The existing supply details, where there is one.

Method

We assess your connection requirements, run a load or generation study, and prepare the readiness of the documentation the DNO needs, so the application goes in complete. We tell you plainly what we could and could not verify from the information provided.

Verification

Produced by a named engineer, independently checked by a second engineer, and approved before issue.

Timeline

Fifteen working days from the complete data set.

Price

From GBP 3,190.

Guide price, ex-VAT. Indicative only, dependent on the sector and the specifics of your building or asset, and it varies case by case. Your firm price is confirmed in a written quote before work begins.

What is not included

This is the readiness dossier, not the DNO application fees, the connection offer negotiation, or the physical connection works. It does not include the detailed protection design or the final construction drawings, which are quoted separately once the offer is in.
